The LORD spoke to Moses and said,
"Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, 'When you come into the land where you will live, which I am giving you,"
"'and you make an offering by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice to keep a vow, or a freewill offering, or an offering at your appointed feasts, to make a pleasing smell to the LORD, taken from the herd or from the flock,"
"'then the one who brings his offering to the LORD shall bring with it a grain offering of a tenth part of flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil."
"'And you shall prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering, together with the burnt offering or the sacrifice, for each lamb."
"'Or for a ram you shall prepare as a grain offering two tenth parts of flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil."
"'And for a drink offering you shall offer a third of a hin of wine, for a pleasing smell to the LORD."
"'And when you prepare a young bull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice to keep a vow, or for peace offerings to the LORD,"
"'then he shall bring with the bull a grain offering of three tenth parts of flour mixed with half a hin of oil."
"'And you shall bring half a hin of wine as a drink offering. It is an offering made by fire, a pleasing smell to the LORD."
"'This is what shall be done for each bull, or for each ram, or for a lamb, or a young goat."
"'Whatever number you prepare, you shall do this for every one of them, according to their number."
"'Everyone born in the country shall do these things in this way, when he brings an offering made by fire, a pleasing smell to the LORD."
"'And if a foreigner is staying with you, or anyone else among you in the generations to come, and he wants to offer an offering made by fire, a pleasing smell to the LORD, he shall do just as you do."
"'There shall be one rule for you of the assembly and for the foreigner who stays with you. It is a rule for ever, through all your generations. As you are, so shall the foreigner be before the LORD."
"'One law and one way shall be for you and for the foreigner who stays with you.'"
The LORD spoke to Moses and said,
"Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, 'When you come into the land where I am bringing you,"
"'and you eat the bread of the land, you shall lift up a heave offering to the LORD."
"'You shall lift up a cake made from the first of your dough as a heave offering. Lift it up as you lift up the heave offering from the threshing floor."
"'From the first of your dough you shall give the LORD a heave offering, through all your generations."
"'And if you make a mistake and do not keep all these commandments which the LORD has spoken to Moses,"
"'that is, all that the LORD has commanded you through Moses, from the day the LORD gave Moses his commands and on through your generations,"
"'then, if the wrong was done without knowing it and the assembly did not know about it, all the assembly shall offer one young bull as a burnt offering, a pleasing smell to the LORD, with its grain offering and its drink offering, as the rule says, and one young goat as a sin offering."
"'And the priest shall make atonement for all the assembly of the children of Israel, and they will be forgiven, for they did not know. They shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, because they did not know."
"'And all the assembly of the children of Israel will be forgiven, and the foreigner who stays among them, since all the people did it without knowing."
"'And if one person sins without knowing it, then he shall bring a female goat in its first year as a sin offering."
"'And the priest shall make atonement before the LORD for the person who sinned without knowing it. Atonement will be made for him, and he will be forgiven."
"'You shall have one law for the one who sins without knowing it, whether he is born among the children of Israel or is a foreigner who stays among them."
"'But the person who does wrong on purpose, whether he is born in the land or is a foreigner, insults the LORD. That person shall be cut off from among his people."
"'He has despised the word of the LORD and has broken his commandment. That person shall be completely cut off. His sin shall be on him.'"
While the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day.
They kept him under guard, because it had not been made clear what should be done to him.
And the LORD said to Moses, "The man must be put to death. All the assembly shall stone him with stones outside the camp."
So all the assembly brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died, as the LORD commanded Moses.
And the LORD spoke to Moses and said,
"Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them to make tassels on the corners of their clothes, through all their generations, and to put a blue cord on the tassel at each corner."
"And the tassel shall be for you to look at, so that you remember all the commandments of the LORD and do them. Then you will not follow your own heart and your own eyes, which you have gone after like a prostitute."
"So you shall remember and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God."
"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. I am the LORD your God."
