Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

So the king and Haman came to feast with Esther the queen.

On this second day, at the banquet of wine, the king said to Esther again, "What is your petition, queen Esther? It will be granted to you. What is your request? It will be done, even if it is half of the kingdom."

Then Esther the queen answered, "If I have found favour in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given to me at my petition, and my people at my request."

"For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to perish. If we had only been sold as slaves, men and women, I would have kept quiet, although the enemy could not make up for the king's loss."

Then king Ahasuerus said to Esther the queen, "Who is he, and where is he, who dared to plan in his heart to do such a thing?"

Esther said, "The foe and enemy is this wicked Haman." Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

The king got up from the banquet of wine in his anger and went into the palace garden. Haman stood up to beg queen Esther for his life, for he saw that the king had decided to bring evil on him.

Then the king came back from the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine. Haman had fallen on the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, "Will he force the queen too, here in the house with me?" As the word went out of the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.

And Harbonah, one of the officers, said before the king, "Look, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good for the king, is standing at Haman's house." Then the king said, "Hang him on it."

So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king's anger was calmed.
