Ecclesiastes 9 - Summary

The righteous, wise, and their deeds are in God's hand, yet the same fate—death—awaits righteous and wicked, clean and unclean alike. A living dog is better than a dead lion, for the living know they will die, but the dead know nothing; therefore, enjoy life with one's beloved and work with vigor, since the race goes not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong.
