Ecclesiastes 7 - Summary

A good name surpasses fine perfume, and the day of death the day of birth; sorrow teaches more than laughter, and the house of mourning more than feasting. The Teacher counsels avoiding extremes of righteousness or wickedness, acknowledges he found one upright man in a thousand but no such woman, and notes humanity's tendency to devise evil schemes.
