1 Corinthians 4 - Summary

Paul instructs the Corinthians to regard him and his colleagues as stewards of God's mysteries, accountable not to human judgment but to the Lord who will reveal hidden things at His coming. In biting irony, he contrasts the Corinthians' self-satisfaction with the apostles' afflictions, then appeals as their spiritual father (having begotten them through the gospel) for them to imitate him, warning that he may come with a rod if necessary.
