Now about the collection for the saints. Do as I ordered the churches of Galatia to do.
On the first day of the week, each of you should set something aside and save it up, as God has prospered him. Then there will be no collecting when I come.
When I come, I will send the men you approve, with letters, to carry your gift to Jerusalem.
And if it is fitting that I go too, they will go with me.
I will come to you when I have passed through Macedonia, for I am going through Macedonia.
It may be that I will stay with you, and even spend the winter with you. Then you can help me on my journey, wherever I go.
For I do not want to see you now only in passing. I hope to stay with you for a while, if the Lord allows it.
But I will stay at Ephesus until Pentecost,
for a great door has been opened to me that leads to much good work, and there are many enemies.
Now if Timotheus comes, see that he is with you without fear, for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.
So let no one look down on him. Send him on his way in peace, so that he may come to me, for I am waiting for him with the brothers.
As for our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brothers. He was not at all willing to come at this time, but he will come when he has a suitable time.
Keep watch. Stand firm in the faith. Be brave. Be strong.
Let everything you do be done with love.
I beg you, brothers and sisters. You know the household of Stephanas, that they are the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have given themselves to the service of the saints.
I ask you to submit yourselves to such people, and to everyone who helps with us and works hard.
I am glad that Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus have come, for they have supplied what was lacking on your part.
They have refreshed my spirit and yours. So give recognition to people like these.
The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord, with the church that meets in their house.
All the brothers and sisters greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.
This greeting is from me, Paul, in my own hand.
If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
