Shiloh

Shiloh was the spiritual center of Israel for over 300 years, from the conquest until the days of Samuel. The Tabernacle was set up here, making it the place where Israel gathered for worship and festivals. It was at Shiloh that Hannah poured out her heart to God and that young Samuel received his prophetic call. However, the corruption of Eli's sons brought judgment, and the Ark was captured. Shiloh's destruction became a prophetic warning: even a place of God's presence is not immune to judgment when His people are unfaithful.
