OriginalSimple EnglishSimpleNew Summary

Read Psalms Chapter 131

A song of David for the journey up to Jerusalem.

Up and down arrows move from one verse to the next.

1LORD, my heart is not proud, and my eyes are not lifted up. I do not busy myself with great matters, or with things too high for me.

2Surely I have calmed and quieted myself, like a child weaned from his mother. My soul is like a weaned child.

3Let Israel hope in the LORD from now on and for ever.
