I will sing of mercy and judgment. To you, O LORD, I will sing.
I will act wisely and walk in a perfect way. Oh, when will you come to me? I will walk inside my house with a perfect heart.
I will set no wicked thing before my eyes. I hate the work of those who turn aside; it will not cling to me.
A crooked heart will depart from me. I will not know a wicked person.
Whoever secretly slanders his neighbour, I will cut him off. The one with proud eyes and a proud heart I will not allow.
My eyes will be on the faithful of the land, so that they may live with me. The one who walks in a perfect way will serve me.
The one who practises deceit will not live inside my house. The one who tells lies will not stay in my sight.
Early each morning I will destroy all the wicked of the land, to cut off all who do evil from the city of the LORD.
