2 Corinthians 2 - Summary

Paul explains he wrote his painful letter to avoid coming in sorrow, and now urges them to forgive and comfort the one previously punished lest he be overwhelmed with excessive grief and Satan gain advantage. He recounts his restless spirit at Troas despite an open door because he did not find Titus, then begins a thanksgiving for God's triumphal procession through which believers diffuse the knowledge of Christ as a fragrance of life to some and death to others.
