Zorah was a town in the lowlands of Judah near the Philistine border. It was the birthplace and hometown of Samson. His father Manoah lived here when the angel announced Samson's birth. Samson was buried between Zorah and Eshtaol.

Biblical Significance of Zorah
Zorah was a town in the Shephelah (foothills) of Judah, originally allotted to Dan. It was the hometown of Samson, where the angel appeared to his parents and announced his miraculous birth. At Zorah, the Spirit of the LORD first began to stir in young Samson. After his death at Gaza, Samson was brought back and buried in the tomb of his father Manoah, between Zorah and Eshtaol—where his story began and ended.
