Mount Ararat

Despite many expeditions and claims over the centuries, no verified remains of Noah's ark have been found on Mount Ararat. The Bible says the ark rested on 'the mountains of Ararat'—a region, not necessarily the specific peak known today as Mount Ararat. After over 4,000 years, any wooden structure would have deteriorated significantly, though some continue to search in the ice and rock of the region.
