Nathan Prophet during David's Reign

Nathan was a prophet who served during the reigns of David and Solomon. He boldly confronted David about his sin with Bathsheba through the parable of the poor man's lamb. He later helped ensure Solomon's succession to the throne when Adonijah tried to seize it.
