Faithful Spy, Companion of Joshua

Old Testament

Caleb was one of the twelve spies sent to scout the Promised Land. Along with Joshua, he gave a positive report and encouraged the Israelites to take the land, trusting in God. Because of his faithfulness, he was one of only two from his generation allowed to enter Canaan. At age 85, he claimed and conquered Hebron.
