Mount Moriah is where Abraham was called to sacrifice Isaac, demonstrating his faith in God who provided a ram as a substitute. Later, Solomon built the Temple on this same mountain, making it one of the most sacred sites in Judaism. The Dome of the Rock now stands on this location.
