Milcah was Haran's daughter and married her uncle Nahor. Genesis names her eight sons, an unusual honour for a woman in a genealogy, and the last of them is Bethuel, father of Rebekah. When Abraham's servant reached the well, Rebekah introduced herself as the daughter of Milcah's son.
