Keturah is the wife Abraham took after Sarah died. She bore him six sons, Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah, and the peoples of the eastern desert are traced from them, Midian above all. Abraham gave everything he had to Isaac and sent her sons eastward with gifts while he was still alive.
